Default enable observer mode while waiting

I'd love to be able to observe GvG while sitting in FA waiting 10 minutes at a time for Luxons to come out and play. When the game starts, it autokicks you out of observe mode and to your game. This would be available any time you were waiting for a game... FA, JQ, AB, GvG.

Im thinking the reason for that not being available is more a technical one. Parties can change while observing, or it may just not be feasible on the engine currently....yea, im sure there is a technical reason.

I'd love for this system to be implemented! In 99.9% of the time I want to begin a match in Jade Quarry it has to reset ~7-8 times.

It would be nice but I'm pretty sure its not possible with the current team/queue system so its pretty unlikely it will happen.

There might be a way to code a work around of being able to queue solo stuff from observer but even that would probably take a lot work.

In addition to, many leechers wouldn't leech if this was implemented.

Hm... going into observer while waiting may not be possible... but how about entering the wait queue while observing?

If we consider the observer mode like being dead in an area, the wait would be like any other 'next mission' countdown.

Anyways, if it was possible, it would be rather nice. People could do something 'productive' while waiting.

It's definitely one that's hard to know the feasibility of without knowing more about the game design. But with wait times up, people are playing less. I think this would keep more people involved and feeling useful/interested.
